You know guys, I think I’ve been doing some deep thinking, in addition to some big-style travelling lately. So it’s time for another Free-for-All Friday, which gives me a break and gives you some hand-picked good stuff to peruse. You remember, this is the post where I’m the cup-bearer making sure your pint of blog is tasty and not poisonous. (Last time it was a Saturday Surprise.)

Here are a few thoughts you might enjoy tasting over the weekend:

Last, here is a tough one I want to share with you guys. I studied with this nice fellow, Steven, while at the University of Edinburgh, and I’m sorry to say I didn’t get to know him better. He and his wife recently experienced a miscarriage, and it was their sixth miscarriage. How Steven has determined to walk through this grief with a desire to honour God — it is a testimony to the very power of Jesus at work in us and through us. I would love for you to take a moment to visit their blogs, hear their stories, and perhaps send a word of encouragement, or simply pray for them, and let them know you’re praying. It is good for our souls when we learn to rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Visit Stephen here and Visit Melissa here.

As a word of promise that there’s more to come, especially with regard to photos of our recent adventures, I will leave you with a special shot from our visit to Kruger.

Look! What’s that over there?

Care to hazard a guess as to whether we got a closer look? Don’t forget Hero Hubs is (not) the Croc Hunter! 😉
