Hooray Hooray Hooray it’s finally here! Today is the first ever Giveaway Day on carolinecollie.com! I’m so glad you could join us! It’s just in time for Mother’s Day and Cinco de Mayo! ¡Olé!
I am very pleased to introduce you to the talent behind Little Miss Priss Designs, Karen Congleton. Unless you guys have already met, in which case you know already, she’s talented.
Karen designs and paints these darlin’ precious hairbow holders. Look!
Aren’t they adorable? She personalizes them based on what her customers request. Look at that gorgeous free hand script!
Karen’s cutie-pie hairbow holders are 10 inches long and about 5 inches tall, and have three matching three-yard ribbons to clip hair bows to underneath, with decorative ribbon coordinating on top. ¡Accento!
This one is my fave. Polka-dots + Zebra = Whatever it is I’m probably gonna love it.
Dern I want a little girl!
So, good news! If you’re a Mom to three boys like Karen, (meaning you don’t need a hair bow holder) she does other cute stuff, too! Like these adorable picture frames:
It’s an 8 x 8 that holds a 3.5 x 3.5 picture in case you were wondering.
Isn’t this one adorable?
That’s a 9 x 7 which, as you can see, holds a 4 x 6. Sassy!
OR… this one… I love buttons!
That one is 6.5 x 7 and holds a 3.5 x 5 sized picture. Cute as a button!
Now here’s the really good news. Today, you can win a free personalized hair bow holder or picture frame from Little Miss Priss Designs. (Your choice!)
All you have to do is leave a comment at the bottom of this post, and tell us whether you’d choose a hair bow holder or a picture frame, and how you’d like yours personalized! Tomorrow morning I will quite literally put your name in a hat, and the Bear will have the delightful adventure of drawing a name out of the hat. And good news, since we’re six hours ahead, the news will probably hit the web long before you’re awake! Please just comment ONCE, and we’ll announce the winner tomorrow!
And one more bit of good news — if you’re not a winner, I’ll have the details on how you can still get something special from Little Miss Priss Designs right here. So come back tomorrow!
These are the nitty-gritty details:
This Give-Away Contest will run from 12 am to 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time on Friday, April 30, 2010. Once the winner is chosen, we’ll announce it here on www.carolinecollie.com, I’ll touch base with the winner with the good news, and Karen will contact you to talk about what you’d like! I am very sorry to say this, but this contest is only open to residents of the US of A. AND, if the Bear or I discover that you’ve been cheeky and commented more than once, you’re NOT gonna win. Cos that’s just cheeky.
So comment away (well, once)! Good Luck!
Now does it fall into the cheeky category if you comment, but don’t live in the good ol US of A. Should I win, I will graciously allow a redraw and that way we will have 2 winners! (I will just feel special!) Have fun doing this! Your next give away could be auctioning off Bear hugs!
You’re so sweet Lorna! And not cheeky! Totally fine to comment! I would LOVE for you to win! I would just feel bad asking Karen to try to ship stuff to South Africa now that I know how difficult it can be to get something through customs! You’ve already earned the prize of a Bear hug — he will deliver it in person next week! 🙂 xCC
Hello Caroline!
What a great idea! Thank you for doing something so fun w/ your blog. If I won your giveaway I would like a hairbow holder for my first great-niece who was just born on Sunday 4/25. Her name is Destiny Renee and even though she is less than a week old she already has a lot of hair, so I know she will need a hairbow holder in her near future!
Thanks again Carolin!
Take care and blessings,
Amber
P.S. If you wanna see some pics of the new cutie in our family, I have posted some to my FB page. 🙂
I love these! So cute! Thanks for hosting this, Caroline!
If I won I would choose the zebra/pink bow holder. My girls’ bathroom is pink, black, and white and it would be so, so, so precious hanging in there!
Oh boy! Those hairbow holders are precious! A must have for our new granddaughter and niece- Emerson Claire Konigsmark!
How talented your friend is!!
Love to all!!
Love the bow holder! I am having a little girl in August and am still in the process of choosing a name and nursery decor so I am kind of undecided at the moment but these are precious! Thanks for bringing me here Amanda!!
These are precious! I love both the bow holder and picture frames…….I think I would choose the frame because I have so many wonderful pictures to display! Your friend is very talented and so are you! I truly enjoy reading your blog:) Take Care and Thanks for taking the time to write such inspiring messages!!
Oh these hair bows remind me of the days when I owned a children’s shop. Bows sold extremely well, could not keep them in stock. If I win I think I will take one of the bows as a gift to your sister’s new baby girl since I can’t seem to get any grandchildren.
Hey! I’d love a hairbow holder. Right now, we have an overflowing bowl of bows in the kid’s bathroom. It’s not very attractive. Although I can’t get the girls to leave anything in their hair for an entire day, they like the process of putting them in. We’d probably go for something with pink, but my house is more earth tones, so Karen and I would have to discuss.
How cute!! Both of my granddaughters wear bows!! This is such a good idea. Hope all it well with you!
How adorable!!! I love both the hairbow holder and the frames! I would love a frame that says “3 Little Birds”. I have 3 daughters that I call my little birdies and that is the name of my blog!
Caroline, these are adorable! Since I don’t have any girls, I would love to have the button picture frame. It would be nice with a picture of me and my sister in it 🙂
These are adorable! I love the frames.
I have 4 girls…clearly the hairbow holder!
Oh oh oh!! pick me pick me!!!!! Love the bow holder!
I would definitely choose the hairbow holder!! And I would personalize it for my neice with her initials KBC (love the one with the green polka dots-that’s my and my neice’s favorite color!)
I’d choose a picture frame since I don’t have kids yet. I’d personalize it with my last name and use it to hold a picture of my husband and I from our upcoming 5th anniversary cruise.
If I were to win I would get the pink and green bow holder, it would be great for my daughter’s growing bow collection! How cute!!
How exciting! Pink and Green bow holder for my newest neice Adah. Her initials would appear: ADJ
A big squeeze from the Dees. LOL!
I love them both but could really use the hairbow holder for my little princess! Her initals are TAE and the one with pink, green, lavender and splashes of brown would look smashing in her room!
Oh my – I love the hair bow holders (picture frames are awesome too) – I would have to go with pink and apple green or pink and brown – beautiful!
Hmmm…. too many to choose from. But if I HAVE to choose, I would like the Zebra bow holder for my newest baby since she doesn’t have a bow holder yet. Her name is Ashlyn Olivia Yates. 🙂
Well it would be hard to choose because I love the picture frame that says trust in him but my little girl could really use the hairbow holder. SO I would probably go with the green and pink one with her name on it.
Hey Caroline! I got your message on your facebook status and I love checking out new blogs! I followed your sister’s religiously while she was preggers and LOVED reading something daily! So now I’m officially following you 😉 Hope you are doing well! And what CUTE designs!!!! I don’t have a kid so I’d go for the frame 🙂 I love the second one with the initial…and I’d put one of our engagement pictures in it 🙂 but they are all so beautiful!!!! Anyways, look forward to your blogs and take care!!
Brooke Woolard
hey Caroline! =) Wow! She is so talented and very crafty! Love all the designs!
Well I could use one or the other, but I guess I’d have to wait closer to my due date to see if I have a little boy or little girl! I love the hair bow holder, but I could have a little boy =) So either one is fine with me!
Hope you are doing well! Miss you and have a wonderful weekend! Its going to be near the 90s here in good ole Washington! I thought aboutcha this past weekend…. went down to the waterfront and had a good ole Bill’s hotdog! yum yum! And a Dr. Pepper! Can’t get better than that!
Love you!
Debo
PS-I have 11 weeks til Baby Hodges arrives!!!!! 🙂
This is so neat! I actually have a hairbow holder and absolutely LOVE it and have ordered a picture frame too! I would love a picture frame with an H on it for our last name. **fingers crossed**
I LOVE the frames! Too cute 🙂
I would like a hair bow holder (since I make and sell bows and my daughter has way too many) in some shade of pink!
Oh so beautiful! I would have to have a frame with grandsons. Does she do any with a sport’s theme? If not, then I would need one in blue and yellow.
Karen is sooo talented! I would love to have a hair bow holder for my little girl!
