And that's on both sides of the coin. I've been the 'America hater' and I've been the one defending my culture and country....sometimes at the same time. :-) I've also defended the USA to others too who have been quick to tarnish ALL Americans with one label. I've learned much from getting to know and have conversations with people who have lived and grown up in the US - I really feel like it is many countries not just one. How different Texas is from New England or Utah or California! And there is much about the 'American Way' which I love. you are so right Caroline, there are so many more important things to be said. We are all human beings. We are not one single story. Let's not concentrate so much on how we are different, but how we are the same. How our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. And I hope this comment is not one of the 'No offence, but' comments, it wasn't intended to be, and I give you full permission to bring me up on it!
